Pursuing Peaks and Embracing the Sea, Delighting in Nature - The 2025 "Hicorp Fitness Festival" Successfully Held
In the golden autumn of October, with mountains and seas complementing each other, the people of Hicorp celebrated their annual "Hicorp Fitness Festival." On October 9 (the 18th day of the eighth lunar month), Hicorp Machinery (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. organized the fitness festival themed "Pursuing Peaks and Embracing the Sea, Delighting in Nature" at the Langyatai Scenic Area, joyfully marking this unique traditional festival for Hicorp employees. Over 180 employees, including middle-level and above cadres, technical and marketing personnel, as well as the group's model workers in 2024, released their vitality and demonstrated the fighting spirit and team cohesion of Hicorp people through mountain climbing competitions and fun sports activities in the midst of nature.
The Chairman of the Group, Guan Yangchun, attended the event and delivered a speech, reviewing the history of the "Hicorp Fitness Festival" and looking forward to the future vision of Hicorp. The Chairman pointed out that since the establishment of the "Hicorp Fitness Festival" in 2010, it evolved into the "Hicorp Fitness Festival" (mainly focused on brisk walking) in 2017-2018. This year's restarted "Pursuing Peaks and Embracing the Sea" mountain climbing activity perfectly aligns with the current development status of the group. As Hicorp is currently in the closing year of its first 60-year development cycle, this event also holds symbolic significance as a bridge between the past and the future. The Chairman emphasized that through the hard work of all Hicorp employees, the operational results from January to August 2025 have far exceeded the expected targets. We should continue to work hard together to reach new heights! Today, we strike gongs and pray for blessings at Langyatai and ascend the platform to gain laurels. Shouting the Hicorp slogan "The Brave Fear Nothing, Hicorp Will Surely Win" in front of this time-honored scenic spot, we believe that the future will surely belong to all Hicorp employees and to Hicorp itself. We firmly believe that a centennial Hicorp will be achieved!
The Chairman proposed another meaning behind the Hicorp Fitness Festival - the concept of "alternating between work and rest is the way to success." He hoped that while working diligently, everyone would maintain a healthy physique, share the mission, and jointly witness the realization of a "Centennial Hicorp"! In 2025, we "Pursue Peaks and Embrace the Sea"; in 2026, we will "Bravely Climb to New Heights"!
Everyone lined up neatly in the square of the scenic area. Pang Zhaohua, the Director of the Group Office, hosted the opening ceremony and led everyone in thorough warm-up exercises. Chen Xiuyan, the Chairman of the Group Trade Union and Deputy General Manager, delivered a pre-competition motivational speech combining the history and culture of Langyatai, wishing all participants good luck in the competition and hoping that everyone would enjoy nature and gain happiness during the event. With a single command, all participants set off on the mountain climbing route with high spirits.
There were four check-in points along the way in this event: the Imperial Palace, the Xu Fu Temple - Dragon King Temple, the Group of Statues, and the Wangyue Tower. Participants needed to check in at each point in sequence and collect items. During the mountain climbing competition, everyone not only challenged themselves and sweated profusely but also immersed themselves in the profound cultural heritage and natural scenery of Langyatai.
In addition to the intense individual competitive races, the event also featured a "Treasure Hunt" activity throughout the entire process. Participants were encouraged to observe carefully and search for "treasures" during the mountain climb, adding fun and interactivity to the activity.
At the Dragon Bay Square at the finish line, fun sports events such as tug-of-war, team skipping, and relay races took place one after another. Representative teams from the group's functional departments and various companies worked together in unity and competed fiercely, creating a lively atmosphere with continuous laughter and cheers on site.
At the award ceremony, group leaders presented medals to the winning individuals and teams and offered them bouquets of blessings!
